If you&amp;rsquo;re now wondering what a cinemagraph is supposed to be, here&amp;rsquo;s the answer.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;I think &lt;em&gt;“cinemagraph&lt;/em&gt; is a product of still photo with minor elements moving on” is almost the most beautiful description.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;A photo with small elements / sections that continue to move (i.e. are video elements). The whole thing can be distributed particularly well as a GIF, i.e. actually as an image file. But cinemagraphs also often appear as video files. Cinemagraphs have been around for several years, especially on the tumblr platform, and I think this is where most users became aware of this special form of GIF.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
