For a long time I thought you always had to go abroad to hear/see really good speakers. But since the Fifteen Seconds Festival began in Graz, these days are over.

Off to Graz for the Fifteen Seconds Festival 2016

I would recommend the former Marketing Rockstars Festival to anyone who is interested in current (worldwide) developments in the digital and online marketing sector. Due to the broad structure of the conference, you get a very nice overview of what is currently happening where and which “marketing trends” are currently current in the USA and actually around the world.

Barcamp Graz 2016 - Blogger camp

Last updated on April 18, 2016, 7:56 AM

From April 22nd to April 24th there will be a big Barcamp in Graz at the FH Joanneum that you shouldn’t miss. For everyone who has never been to a Barcamp, I thought I would write a little explanation about it:

What is a Barcamp?

Barcamps describe themselves as an “ad-hoc non-conference”. The exciting thing about it is that you submit topics in advance and the “conference” program is created the morning before the start, practically on the fly, depending on demand for the topic. You basically vote on which topics would be most interesting for the majority and then the rooms are allocated for these sessions, which usually last 45 minutes. Barcamps are actually always free (as far as I know) and are a great way to get to know people who are interested in the same topics as you.
